Using the web without javascript

For a while i never understood why some people hated Javascript. So i thought i should try disable Javascript on my browser and see how regular web surfing goes.

To disable Javascript i just set ublock origin to block Javascript for all sites by default.

Using the web without Javascript wasn't too much of a hassle, since i already used privacy oriented frontends like invidious, libreddit, etc, instead of the main YouTube or Reddit site which work without Javascript. There are some sites that break without Javascript (eg. Github), but i can just enable and disable Javascript on a per-site basis. I think i will continue using the web like this since it increases privacy a bit.
